Designed by celebrated Swedish glass artist Bo Borgstrom, this refined art glass bowl was produced by Åseda Glasbruk during the 1960s. The bowl exemplifies Scandinavian mid-century design with its clean lines, harmonious proportions and striking use of layered colour. A translucent blue upper bowl rests elegantly on a contrasting green pedestal base, creating depth and visual interest from every angle.
with measurements of 17cm wide and 12cm tall, the bowl is ideally suited for use as a decorative centrepiece or sculptural object. Åseda Glasbruk was known for pushing creative boundaries in Swedish glassmaking, and Borgstrom played a key role in shaping its artistic identity.
