A retro, belle époque spirit pervades the atelier… this small bistro chair, no. 18, an icon of early industrial design, exudes a light elegance. It has undoubtedly spent part of its life in a café, bistro, or tea room. We love its captivating sheen and its voluptuous, minimalist, yet undeniably warm form…
made of bentwood (beech), the chair is antique, with a beautiful deep, patinated hue. The double-curved backrest lends a modern, light, and dynamic design. The caned seat is in good, firm condition. A stain is visible on the caning in the photo. The chair is in good condition, antique but has been checked and is functional. A slight split in the wood is visible in the photo, but it does not affect the chair's structure. It is light, stable, and comfortable.
41cm diameter and 48cm seat height, 91cm overall height.
