Vintage 1930s Bedspread/Duvet
A stunning bedspread/duvet/quilt, typical of elegant homes in Spain during the 1930s and 40s.
It was worn snugly, covering only the square surface of the bed, without hanging over the sides.
The brocade fabric has a delicate sheen, diamond-stitched seams, and a small ruffle along the edges. The reverse side is plain cotton.
I haven't found another one like it! Unique.
Used but in perfect condition, recently dry cleaned. The ruffle is slightly wrinkled from storage, but it can be ironed.
Professionally cleaned, no dirt or stains.
There is only a minor color fade on the back. See photos. Fits a 135-150 cm bed.
