The chairs are similar to those made by Ethan Allen and Tom Seely, but there is no brand stamp. There is a paper label indicating that the chairs were purchased at Furnitureland South, a large furniture store located in Jamestown, NC.

The chairs feature solid cherry wood construction with finial mounted back stiles and bentwood spindles designed to mimic the appearance of bundled grain (like a sheaf of wheat). Comfortable shaped plank seats mounted on round straight legs ending in turnip feet. Legs supported by turned H stretcher for extra stability.

These chairs are in very good used condition. The chairs are very sturdy with tight joints. There is moderate wear on the wood finish, including scratches, finish loss, and surface level cracks on the back rails. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the chairs.

Each arm chair measures 41.5” tall, 23.5” wide, and 17.25” deep with an 18.25” seat height and 26.25” arm height. Each side chair measures 41.5” tall, 19.5” wide, and 17.25” deep with an 18.25” seat height. See less
