This 1970s needlepoint textile bell pull measures 19.5 inches long from the middle top of the black metal hanger to … Read more This 1970s needlepoint textile bell pull measures 19.5 inches long from the middle top of the black metal hanger to the middle bottom of the black metal weighting the bottom. The area of the needlepoint textile itself is about 17 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide.

The scene depicted includes sky, trees, a building, most likely a church, in hues of blue, green, brown, rust, tan, and gray.

The back is lined with a tan fabric; however, the top and bottom of the needlepoint were not covered with fabric so the base needlepoint canvas fabric shows on the back top and bottom. This was an odd way to finish the bell pull, but it is the original finish, which was most likely done by the person who stitched the needlepoint.
