Hand-blown studio art glass vase in a rich cobalt blue hue, featuring shimmering iridescent metallic inclusions throughout. The sculptural rounded form is substantial and weighty, with thick walls and a polished ground pontil on the underside.
Signed “Selma” on the base, this piece is attributed to an American studio glass artist working in the late 20th century. The organic shape and luminous surface reflect the influence of contemporary studio glass movements of the period.
