Mid-late 19th century Chinese or Korean burnt red lacquer gallery tray now on custom stand. The tray effusively inlaid in mother of pearl, abalone & shagreen, featuring deer, phoenix birds, butterflies, small song birds & cranes among trees & branches. Running lines of abalone. Now on a custom made painted hardwood stand with boldly turned legs. Tray: 26 7/8" x 17 7/8" x 3 7/8". Surface height on stand: 17".
Overall with stand: 27" x 18" x 20 7/8" h.
