Large original 19th-century Swedish oil on canvas painting depicting three cows set within a moody European landscape. Dark clouds and dramatic skies frame the scene, with sliver of water visible in the foreground, adding depth and atmosphere.
The painting is housed in its original large and ornate carved gold gilt frame, over 5 inches thick, giving this painting strong visual presence.
