A domestically produced item, marked by a Polish manufacturer of teaching aids (original label preserved on the base).
The model was used to demonstrate physical phenomena related to magnetism and the interaction of magnetic fields. Characteristic layout: a massive horseshoe magnet, an adjustable metal element and a vertical support with a measuring scale.
The whole is mounted on a solid, heavy base made of dark plastic (bakelite / early phenolic plastic), which gives the object a distinctive industrial-laboratory character.
