Pair of mid 19th century scandinavian stools circa 1840.
At the time of listing we have 2 pairs of identical stools, very much in the empire taste.
Curule like shaped scrolled legs, traditionally upholstered seats are covered in an old calico and ready to be re-covered. These seats seat on a roll top support on the frame and allows you to see underneath.
Stained in a dark brown to look like mahogany, which has worn in places.
Minor surface marks to woodwork, 1 small hole to calico fabric. Natural slight warpage to legs, but still standing true.
