Early 20th Century Ironmongers Shelves Circa 1910 - Solid Pine and Larch frame - Brass card label holders - Salvaged … Read more Early 20th Century Ironmongers Shelves Circa 1910 - Solid Pine and Larch frame - Brass card label holders - Salvaged from an ironmongers in the Saarland of Germany, the shop was originally built in 1907 - German ~ 1907 - 172cm long x 186cm tall x 80cm deep - Shelve dimensions are 80cm wide x 35cm tall x 54cm deep The shelves originally formed part of a large Ironmongers shop and was one of 4 sets of shelves used to store a huge variety of items along the back wall of the shop. Located in the Saarland region of Germany, the shop and full interior was built in 1907 and made by local carpenters using Pine & Larch from the surrounding forests of the southern Mosel valley. Unfortunately the shop closed after over 100 years of business, our team were then tasked with saving and painstakingly dismantling the entire shop interior. The Salvage Job (Above) Condition Report The shelves have been restored but will some show signs of wear in the form of dents and patina, the shelves has been given a coat of wax. See less
