Hofbauer "Byrdes" collection crystal bell featuring a "ruby flashed" and etched bird on a branch. This vintage item was manufactured in Germany and is composed of 24% lead crystal.
The Hofbauer company produced this collectible glassware from the late 1970s until the factory closed in the mid-1990s.
The bell features a detailed, etched bird-on-a-branch motif within an oval section on the bell's body and a bird-shaped finial handle at the top. The purple/ruby color is a "flash" or "cut-to-clear" accent on the design elements.
