This is authentic Italian art pottery.
Beautiful vintage Italian ceramic vase by Flavia produced in Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy, during the mid-20th century. This vase features a classic mid-century modern silhouette with a softly tapered form and a highly sought-after cream swirl glaze with natural streaking and movement. The glaze has wonderful depth and variation, characteristic of Flavia’s art pottery production from the 1960s. The base is marked “Flavia … Italy.” The stamp is partially obscured by glaze, which is common with Flavia pieces from this period, ***see photos. The marking is legible in hand, though difficult to fully capture on camera.
