It's painted with a watercolor, gouache, and gold gilding and done in a triangular format.
The painting depicts an obscure scene of a handled vase with a baby on it holding flowers wrapping the gorgeous face of a lady.
The vase holds a tag that reads "Twenty years ago today one little violet began to grow- and say- in twenty years-take notice once it has grown to be the most expensive bunch." and is signed by the artist.
The piece is nicely matted around the design, under glass, and framed with a period ornate gilt-wooden frame.
It is in good condition and measures 17 inches up and down by 17 inches wide.
There is a small stain on the matting. See less
