19th-century Swedish two-door armoire crafted in pine with a deeply aged patina and original hinges that function well. The upper cabinet doors feature paneled detailing and secure with an old lock and key that still function. Inside are three standard shelves plus an upper half shelf with notches, originally designed for displaying family silver spoons and serving pieces.
The lower section includes two drawers with traditional Swedish diamond motifs and wooden pulls. The cabinet rests on four bun feet and has been given a simple wax finish.
Age and use are evident throughout, including expected cracks, small gouges, and age-related separation. Signs of old dried wormhole activity are visible, particularly along the back and sides. The back shows old repairs and cracking consistent with age. Restored, strong, stable, and ready for use.
