This hand-thrown studio art ceramic vase was made by Tim Isaac of New Brunswick, Canada and features a sculptural raku fired form with a circular stone and shell inlay set into the front, creating a striking focal point against the dark smoky glaze, with the body rising from a round foot to a flattened shield-like silhouette and a narrow top opening, making it well suited for display as an art object or for a few dried stems. Measures 8" tall, 8.5" wide, 3.75" deep.
