It is of lovely quality and is a great size, perfect for use at the end of a bed, in an entry way or a bay window. The frame is beautifully made from solid wood with panelled sides, it is identically finished front and back. The top of the seat has gadrooned carving, it lifts up to reveal internal storage space.

We have had this re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, the condition is great for its age. There is just some minor wear and patina, with a few small knocks to the beading around the panels, seen in the images.
