This light fixture is typical of the Hollywood Regency style with a strong Italian Florentine/mid-century influence. Visible characteristics: • Stylized floral bouquet shape (stems, leaves, candle-holder "flowers") very similar to Italian gilt wall sconces/bouquets of the 1950s and 60s. • Gold/gold leaf finish on hammered metal, a decorative effect that is more theatrical than strictly functional, a hallmark of the Hollywood Regency style. • Symmetrical yet highly decorative composition, far removed from the rigor of Art Deco and closer to the romantic decor of the 1950s and 60s. Probable dating: • Design reminiscent of Italian or Spanish production of the 1950s and 60s (or later reissues in the same style), often sold as a "gold Florentine wall sconce" or "Hollywood Regency bouquet."
