The metal a has been restored: polished … Read more A beautiful six arm chandilier in brass from oswald haerdtl from the 1930's. The metal a has been restored: polished and lacquered by hand. Lamp shades have been recovered with silk, using the original frames. The cups for the fixtures and the chain are nickel plated and then covered with brass plating. Over the years from cleaning, in places, the brass plate has been polished away leaving a wonderful patina. Canopy dimensions: l 8 cm, dia 8,7 cm shade dimension: 10 x 21 x 17 cm this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
