Pierre Decorse (b1953) organic sculptural Olive wood & Agate side table. Signed and dated; 2005
A beautifully hand‑crafted side table made from a single piece of Olive wood, and carved from richly grained olive wood, celebrated for its dramatic movement, warm tones, and natural durability. This piece embraces the raw character of the timber, showcasing organic edges, expressive grain patterns, and naturally occurring openings. The top with a polished inlaid agate stone.
The three‑tier structure offers both sculptural presence and practical function for display. The gently curved legs support the shelves with an almost fluid, root‑like form, giving the table a sense of natural growth rather than construction.
A one‑of‑a‑kind piece.
