This set is perfect for all year round entertaining.

The set is a beautiful way to serve delicious appetizers, soups, salads, or desserts in single servings that your guests will enjoy. They could also be used as serving bowls. These bowls and plates find new purpose serving on a year-round dinner table.

Each bowl has a slight flattened surface all around mimicking the wood lacquered rice bowls traditionally used in a Kaiseki dinner. Small gold colored inclusions all around.
Kiln logo stamped on underside.
The plates, each with a calligraphic brush stroke of an open 'Enso' in a dull gold/bronze to one side. Serve warm or cold dessert, salad, hors d'oeuvre or sauces in the small plates and an entree in the larger plate.

Makes an excellent gift for the holidays for that perfect host/hostess.
