This is an early version of the Royal wall unit by Poul Cadovius with beautiful stained walnut veneered shelves. Designed in 1948 and manufactured by Poul Cadovius for Cado Denmark in the 1950s.
Modular 3-bay wall mounted shelving system with 8 1 meter shelves and patinated brass brackets.
This system consists of:
4 Uprights in stained beech. Length 175 cm.
8 Shelves. Depth 24 x 100 cm
Each shelf can be placed as desired without the use of the tools. Can also be configured as a 2-bay unit or 2 individual 1-bay units. Please see last photo as an example.
Good vintage condition with patina consistent with age and use. Small nicks and scratches and one shelf with small veneer losses along the edge. Cleaned and polished, ready for use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
