Made by the Faïencerie d'Onnaing, the plate features … Read more An authentic late 19th-century French barbotine (majolica) asparagus plate, sourced in Paris. Made by the Faïencerie d'Onnaing, the plate features high-relief molding of bundled asparagus stalks with purple and green tips, "tied" with a relief-molded ribbon, artichoke-leaf scroll edge and a scalloped shell-shaped sauce well. Reverse features an incised "T", characteristic of Onnaing mold-maker marks. See less
