Elegant and finely detailed, this antique French brass-framed vitrine cabinet dates to the late 19th–early 20th century and reflects the refined craftsmanship of the Louis XVI Revival period. Designed for the display of jewelry, objets d’art, or small collectibles, the cabinet features glass panels on all sides, allowing light to pass beautifully through the interior.
The cabinet is constructed with a warm brass (ormolu-style) frame accented by intricate cast detailing, including floral mounts, pierced frieze work, and classic cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet. Both the top and interior base are fitted with richly veined onyx marble slabs, adding a luxurious contrast to the delicate brass structure.
Two glass doors open to reveal glass shelving supported by original brass pins. The beveled glass panels and finely cast central escutcheon further emphasize the quality and attention to detail throughout.
