This substantial piece has a beautifully rounded, shouldered form with a wide flared mouth and low footed base — classic utilitarian form elevated by age and hand-worked character. The surface shows layered patina, oxidation, old polish traces, and organic tonal variation in gold, umber, and deep bronze. Inside, natural verdigris and mineral deposits tell the story of its long life.

Likely late 19th to early 20th century utilitarian brass vessel. Form and construction are consistent with hand-hammered decorative and household vessels produced in Europe or Asia for domestic use. These pieces were often used for storage, water, or grain and are now highly sought after for decorative interiors. Magnet test confirms solid brass (not plated). Measures 15” at the widest, 12.5” across the mouth, and 11” tall.

Authentic antique condition with beautifully aged wear. Heavy patina and surface oxidation, verdigris and mineral buildup inside, surface scuffs, marks, small dents and tonal variations, and evidence of past polishing and age-related finish wear.
