A beautiful intarsia hinged brass lapis lazuli , mother - of - pearl jewelry box is a work of finest presentation, quality and workmanship. A gorgeous box composed of lozenges shaped of jewelry grade lapis lazuli alternating with iridescent mother of pearl. The hinged lid opens to reveal a boarder of black onyx , with brass fitting and textile lined interior. This stunning presentation box is in excellent aged condition. in recent years Bonham has sold one at auction impressively. Base is of Glass.
