This Woodland Furniture “Aquitaine” Center Table is an engaging blend of sculptural woodwork and ornamental ironwork that, together, serves as a decorative focal point for a wide range of interior spaces and design styles. The table's low profile also makes it suitable for use as a center or accent table within a formal seating arrangement.
• Circular wooden top with molded perimeter edge
• Base composed of four contoured and scroll-form supports with deep carved details
• Decorative iron stretcher system spans between the legs, converging at a central vertical iron element with a slightly twisted profile and small curled terminals
• Lower apron and leg junctions display shaped cutouts
• Good vintage condition with age-consistent signs of wear, including a top surface showing scattered scratches, abrasions, and finish wear consistent with modest use, including several linear marks and small localized losses to the finish. One area of deeper surface loss is visible on the top, and perimeter edge exhibits small chips and nicks along the im, with minor finish separation in places. Base displays surface wear throughout, including small dents, darkened areas, and minor edge losses along carved contours. Iron stretcher shows surface oxidation and patina. No visible evidence of structural breaks. Overall form is intact and stable.
