Up for sale is a rare antique 18th century handmade brass and iron box.
It's forged by hand out of thick brass into an oval silhouette and has a brass/iron skeleton key locking mechanism on the face.
The box has a hinged lid, wrought iron footed legs, and a pivoting carrying handle at the top.
The piece is in beautiful condition, has acquired a nice patina from age, and measures 9 inches long by 4 1/4 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches thick.
There is no key.
