Custom made after museum sample of Ming scholar's couch bed, typical simple-and-elegant style with supreme craftsmanship, legs designed in curved "banana style", the detachable side and back railings designed in classical latticework pattern, overall covered with a hand-buffed warm honey finish, a great type of Huali wood displaying very attractive grain patterns; together with a Ming-style Huali Kang table - the small and low table normally placed on the brick-made and heatable platform for general living, working, entertaining and sleeping used in the Northern part of China.
