The three pieces have the … Read more Hand-hammered Whiting sterling silver teapot with Bakelite inserts on handle and matching creamer and sugar. The three pieces have the same hammered texture which is even and well-executed and the monogram KLV. The set is in an arts and craft style (1890-1910). The teapot has the hallmark of a bird, STERLING and the pattern number 1608A. The creamer and sugar have the hallmark of a bird, STERLING and pattern number 1509A. There is a light gold wash on the interior of the pieces. There are no dents or scratches and the hinge on the teapot is intact. The teapot weights approximately 11 oz, the creamer 3 oz and the sugar is 4 oz for a total of 18 oz. or 510 grams. The teapot measures approximately 6"H x 5"W x 8.5"L, the creamer is 3.25" round with 1.25" handle at top, the sugar is 3.5" round with two 1.25" handles. Recently professionally polished. See less
