Late 19th C Louis XV style Wingback Bergere. Originally came from Neff Hall in the main presidential building at Baylor University in Texas. Baylor is a private college. The chair later belonged to a Texas prominent businessman from Waco named Frank J. Nix Jr. and was part of his estate.
The chair has beautiful carved wood features in the neoclassical style of Louis XVI. A very comfortable chair.
Fabric is fine vintage damask stripe in blue and cream with pink floral accents.
