There is … Read more This is an adorable Late Art Deco Vase in Frost and Crystal Glass from The American Verlys . There is a head-spinning amount of history and beauty on display in this vase. The company itself produced on two continents at overlapping times and their molds were used thereafter by Fenton and Heisey. Thankfully we know that this exemplar was produced by Verlys of America sometime between 1935 and the early 1950s, because the Verlys mark is on display here an a pen etched mark on the base. The other iterations of Verlys were differently marked. This vase also has the distinct facade of both crystal clear glass and frosted birds and pedestal. There is also the added feature (contrivance) of "remaining" sand on the pedestal on one side. . . . suggesting the manner in which the vase was produced by Verlys.

The top of the vase is a pleasant small arc, sitting atop upward sloping Art Deco sides. it is 6.5" wide and 4.5" tall. The depth is 2.0". The base is 2" x 3". It is signed with etching pen "Verlys" at base. There is a pair of frosted love birds on both wide sides of the vase.

The vase is in excellent condition.
