A pair of Swedish armchairs with an enveloping profile, integrated armrests, and light, textured upholstery, elegant and understated.
Designed by Carl Malmsten around 1953 and produced by O.H. Sjögren (Tranås, Sweden), the "Lata Greven" armchairs combine comfort and Nordic restraint: a welcoming backrest, soft lines, and light proportions on tapered legs. The light-colored wood frame complements the original upholstery in ivory-colored, textured fabric, with a subtle, luminous weave, which shows signs of wear consistent with its age. The name evokes the idea of a "relaxed," almost aristocratic, seat.
