Pair of "Diplomat" chairs by Finn Juhl for France & Son, 1960s. Original rosewood and cognac leather, with the maker's mark.
Designed by Finn Juhl and produced by France & Son in the 1960s, the "Diplomat" chairs combine lightness and sculptural presence. The rosewood reveals a warm grain, supported by a turned frame; the curved armrests complement the lines with precision. Original cognac leather, with the maker's mark; the seat upholstery shows signs of wear.
