Featured is a great full body portrait depicting the Ming Dynasty Hongxi Emperor. He is seated in his throne, dressed in his royal garb, meticulously painted to the smallest detail, highlighted in gold / gilt paint. This work of art dates back to late 19th to early 20th century, placed in a 20th century wood frame. Signature is placed in the upper left corner in gold letters. Condition is good, minimal age / use wear if any (please see photos). Size is 25" height, 19" wide, and approx 1" deep. This will display great in any traditional or mid-century modern setting.
