Rare antique blue-tinted glass siphon, dating from around 1900, made for the A. Chevalier company, located in Villars-les-Dombes, Ain (01).
This siphon features a thick glass bottle with a beautiful blue tint, adorned with an acid-etched marking that reads "A. Chevalier – Villars-les-Dombes," an authentic testament to its professional use in the tradition of cafés, brasseries, and drinking establishments at the turn of the 20th century.
The original metal head also bears the Chevalier stamp and features a lever and spout. It retains a highly decorative antique patina, highlighting the industrial and utilitarian nature of the object. The overall design presents an elegant silhouette, emblematic of siphons from this period.
