A true representation of royal art, created to honor the divine ancestry of the OBA, or great king. This unique piece was crafted using the lost wax technique, resulting in a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. This traditional method has been used by skilled Benin brass casters since the fifteenth or sixteenth century, primarily creating pieces for the monarchy and occasionally for chiefs. See less
