The "Icicles/Sputnik" Murano glass chandelier is a stunning, beautiful, modern example of Italian style and design.
It is sure to be the centerpiece in any room. The chandelier consists of hand blown Murano glass pieces covering metal sphere hardware.
An incredible contemporary, Mid-Century Modern Art Sculpture Lighting Piece.
There are 61 hand blown glass "icicle" pieces created in 3 colors - turquoise blue, clear turquoise blue with 24Kt gold infused and "lattimo" white encased in clear turquoise.
The chandelier has 2 separate and independent lighting sources (9 external g9 LED dimmable bulbs and 61 LED dimmable bulbs inside each glass piece).
When you turn the external lights off in a dark room, with the internal lights left on, the chandelier becomes an entirely different experience - it becomes an illuminated piece of glass art. (see images).
