Title: Rare Antique Chittenden & Eastman "Square Brand" Oak Sewing Rocker – c. 1910
Description:
Manufacturer: Authenticated by original "Square Brand" paper label from the Chittenden & Eastman Company of Burlington, Iowa.
Design: A classic Mission-style (Arts & Crafts) armless rocker, specifically designed for sewing, knitting, or needlework to allow for a full range of arm movement.
Unique Feature: Includes the rare, original built-in sewing drawer located under the seat, complete with internal wood dividers for spools and notions.
Material: Solid oak with a beautiful natural grain and aged patina.
Condition: Sturdy frame with smooth rocking motion; original label is intact on the underside.
