Travel down the road here to the little farm of your dreams. A charming painting is a glimpse into the country life. This painting was created near my country home, a 1940s cedar sided cabin. The 8x10 painting was created on a canvas mounted on a birch panel. The Elegant frame adds a touch sophistication to the rustic scene. The overall size of the framed art is 10x12 inches.

Marina Movshina is an American artist known for landscape painting, and for her illustrations of children’s books, as well as her botanicals. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition of distinguished alumni at Carnegie-Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago and the Harlin Museum in West Plains, MO. An elected artist member of the American Artists’ Professional League, New York, NY, she is admired for her skill as a painter and draftsman in the handling of space, depiction of light, and expert use of color. She received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and studied at the Art Students’ League, New York, NY, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Marina lives in St. Louis, MO.
