A beautiful French Majolica Longchamp glazed oyster plate in a vibrant emerald green color from circa early 1920s. The absence of a mark on Longchamp oyster plates indicate the older age.
This plate features the iconic basket weave design background and rope border known to Longchamp with six seashell shaped wells for oysters and a central raised well for condiments.
It displays beautifully as a centerpiece or in a collection and is functional for serving.
