An elegant antique walnut Victorian ladies slant top drop front desk with three oval panels of walnut burl. Professionally refinished. Dates back to the 1870s era. Working locks with keys to top and bottom. The drawers are dovetailed. The sides are paneled. On the front of the desk features again the walnut burl veneer pieces. Also Eastlake style bullseye raised wooden buttons. On the front of the desk on each side are fancy raised Victorian adornments. The drawer pulls are carved fruit designs. The inside desk drawer fronts are maple wood. Lots of little cubby holes inside for organization. Origination tag on the back states JO.
