A vintage figurine with a tender yet confident character depicting a lion cub, handmade in Italy between the 1970s and 1980s in genuine solid silver.
A compact and well defined miniature in which the gathered body, expressive head, and youthful proportions of the cub are rendered with great sensitivity. Despite its modest size, the subject retains a strong identity and a balanced decorative presence, typical of the finest Italian animalier miniatures.
