Produced in 1977 by Edition Panderma, Basel, this piece is part of Edition of 50.Hans Hinterreiter (1902–1989) was a Swiss Concrete artist and architect. Born in Winterthur, he studied mathematics and architecture in Zurich. A pivotal moment came in the 1930s when he discovered Wilhelm Ostwald’s color theory, leading him to develop his own "Form- and Color-Organ"—a systematic method for creating geometric compositions. Although he lived in seclusion in Ibiza for much of his life, he maintained close ties with Max Bill and the "Zurich Concretists". His work, characterized by precise, crystalline structures and dynamic color gradations, gained international recognition with exhibitions at the Kunstmuseum Winterthur (1973) and the Guggenheim Museum in New York (1988).Condition:
