Produced in 2021, this piece is part of Edition of 15.Jurgen Ostarhild (b. 1956) is a German photographer and media artist. Initially gaining fame in the 1990s for his fashion photography and early adoption of digital manipulation (Photoshop), his later work shifted towards a conceptual analysis of the digital image itself. He explores the ""genetic code"" of photography by visualizing the hexadecimal codes and raw data that constitute a digital file. His ""36images"" and NFT works strip the image down to its numerical essence, questioning the relationship between visible representation and the underlying data stream.Condition:
