Triptychon I by Heinrich Niemeyer for Edition Panderma, Basel, 1928This silkscreen, titled Triptychon I, is a work by Heinrich Niemeyer. Produced in 1928 by Edition Panderma, Basel, this piece is part of Edition of 110.Heinrich Niemeyer (1900–1991) was a German architect and Constructivist artist. Active during the burgeoning era of modernism in the 1920s, his work reflects the rigorous formal language of the Bauhaus and De Stijl. Though primarily known for his architectural contributions in post-war Germany, his graphic works from the late 1920s display a sophisticated understanding of geometric balance and orthogonal structure.Condition:
