The Haida Glass School (now Nový Bor, Czech Republic) was a historically significant educational institution founded in 1869 in the heart of the North Bohemian glass industry. It provided excellent designs for local production and made a substantial contribution to the development of glass art, renowned for its outstanding Art Nouveau and Art Deco works, often employing special staining and cutting techniques, which are now considered valuable collector's items.
Key aspects of the Haida Glass School:
Founded: 1869.
Location: Haida (now Nový Bor in the Czech Republic) was a world-famous center of glassmaking.
