we are pleased to offer this fine quality swedish birch and elm sewing table, which has recently been fully restored in our workshop.

rectangular lid which has veneered in a stunning burr birch set within 2 strung borders and finished with a moulded edge.  hinged lid opens and is secured with original prop.  fully fitted interior which has been lined with hand made marbled paper.  interior comprises of compartments and even has 2 secret drawers for special stowage.  further burr directly underneath the top and to the single drawer, with working lock and key.   top supported by 4 scrolling arms and a fluted column, beautifully veneered in elm.  standing on platform base and 4 scrolling feet.

minor restorations to veneer, recently re-polished by hand and ready for everyday enjoyment. See less
