A Lovely original late 19th century French wrought iron bistro table retaining its orginal wooden top and stunning wrought iron base. The base is stamped on the uprights with the mark “Breveté S.G.D.G.” This is a common stamp found on many French antique iron bistro tables. It is an abbreviation for “Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement”, which translates to “Patented Without Government Guarantee” and was required by French patent law from 1844 to 1950s. The table is perfect in the garden but also fabulous in a large kitchen or garden room.
