Set of five 19th-century French miniature hand-colored etchings. Recently sourced in Paris, these delicate works of art depict various equestrian scenes, from elegant ladies riding sidesaddle to leisurely romantic promenades. The etchings are beautifully housed in faux-tortoiseshell frames with deep mahogany tones, a high-luster finish and with a stepped black inner lip. Framed under glass with moss-green matting with gold lining for a sophisticated "old-world" gallery feel.
Due to their uniform size and style, these are best displayed as a salon-style gallery wall in a library, study, or entryway. Their petite approx. 7x5 size also makes them perfect for nesting in bookshelves or gracing a narrow hallway.
